• FILANTE 34 TUBULAR LOUDSPEAKERS •
By combining two acoustic principles, we are pleased to present the "Filante 34 Tubular" today.
Building on our "Tubular" principle (see the Filante 17/21 Tubular model), this design now features an additional channel; this innovation stems from a second full-range driver that reproduces the lowest frequencies completely autonomously in a symmetrical load configuration.
Furthermore, we maintain an excellent sensitivity of 92 dB and a stable 8-ohm impedance; this allows the use of high-quality, very low-power stereo amplifiers (8 watts per channel), as well as the option to drive it with two stereo amps or two mono blocks, or even four mono blocks for extremely high volume levels.
Another distinctive feature of this acoustic principle, beyond bi-amplification, is bi-wiring, which offers further sonic benefits by directly feeding the two modules. We are currently developing a special high-quality copper cable (2 x 4 m) designed exclusively for the Filante 34 and 42 "Tubular" models. (Please contact us for details.)
This new system will deliver a completely "open" soundstage, along with a remarkable sonic foundation characterized by fast, articulate, and precise bass—perfectly balanced and richly textured across all music genres.
