Arrival of an exceptional and limited batch of certified KT88 Guiguang and 6550 B2 from Svetlana manufactured in St Petersburg at the beginning of the 90's, real N.O.S tubes (new old stock) and destined for our MS 88 SE and MS 888 SE amplifiers of the Classique range within the framework of their partial or total re-tubing in their "Anniversary and Signature Edition" version
With the 2 original USA rectifier valves as well as their 4 N.O.S pre-amplifier tubes also included, i.e. a complete pack of 10 N.O.S tubes at a price of 590 to 790 € TTC depending on the chosen formula. These old productions have an uncommon energy and an amazing sound material and are endowed with an exceptional tone quality with the bonus of a superior service life. Vintage and collector's rarities that remain the best sound alternative to the vacuum tubes produced by most modern factories. An example not to be followed: Gold Lion Re-issue & E.Harmonix vacuum tubes on Quad II amp itself Re-issued! The customer has since purchased our MS680 SE hybrid. Conclusion: a successful hybrid amp is far superior to a standard quality pure tube amp with mediocre tubes. As for the musical value of the modern vacuum tubes that surf on the name of the illustrious brands of the great era, i.e. the re-releases of: Mullard, Gold Lion, Genalex ,Tungsol, Telefunken and even Svetlana, Pier Audio decided not to use them, as in general, all the hits of the group New Sensor worldwide known thanks to its brand Electro Harmonix .
